HOW YOU'LL LEARN IT

This course strikes a balance between the foundations of Excel and hands-on practice. Learners have the flexibility to progress through the 25 learning modules at their own pace with intentionally placed exercises to enhance instruction. We use a just-in-time strategy in the class, intentionally providing the information needed to accomplish tasks instead of over-saturating learners with details they have little chance of remembering. In order to support an inquiry-based approach, this class comes with access to two Virtual Office Hours and lifetime access to a private Slack channel exclusively for Excel learners such as yourself.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Elizabeth DiLuzio is a Ph.D. candidate with master’s degrees in social work and public health. She is the Co-Founding Principal of a boutique evaluation firm, Evaluation + Learning Consulting, and brings over two decades of experience across education, public health, social work, and evaluation. Elizabeth is an accomplished evaluator and strategist with extensive experience in the co-creation of data-informed systems for feedback, learning, strategic planning, and applied research. Her professional journey spans across notable clients such as Meetup, L’Oréal, Rockefeller Foundation, and the City of New York.

Elizabeth is an adjunct professor at St. Francis College and NYU’s Wagner and School of Professional Studies. She also teaches a wide range of data analytics workshops to learners around the world. Through her teaching, Elizabeth helps future professionals to be better equipped with both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to advance in the rapidly evolving field of data science and evaluation.

Elizabeth is the Lead Curator for AEA365, a daily blog of the American Evaluation Association that is written for evaluators, by evaluators. Her published works and presentations, notably on topics that merge data science with social issues, further underline her commitment to using data for societal betterment.
